Squeezebox Server 7.5 forgets library location

    Hi,

I've had this issue for some time, under 7.4.x (maybe x=2, I forget now) as well. I store my music on a SoftRAID, which is NOT auto mounted at start up. Everytime I reboot, the squeebox server loses the location of the music library (because the raid is not mounted yet). However, after mounting, it still doesn't see it... I have to manually go into the settings and change the location folder to trigger a RESCAN. Simply clicking "rescan" doesn't actually do anything.

On older version of the Server, 7.4.0 I think, i didn't have this issue.

Has anyone else had this issue? Any ideas how to fix it please?

    Thanks,

    Question

IMO This is not a supported configuration. The disk(s) that houses the music library needs to be seen by the operating system very shortly after boot-up. why are you doing this? Presumably you are using softraid for high availability? - seems odd to me you would do this.
You want to see the signal path BEFORE it gets onto a CD/vinyl...it ain't what you'd call minimal...
