I have a Transporter along with 4 Classic 3's.
I run the Transporter sans external DAC almost exclusively.
I run all of my Classic's with external DAC's. Universal Audio 2192 in my main rig, Lite Audio DAC 60 in my office, a Sonic Frontiers UltraJitterbug + Roksan DA1 DAC w/ DS4 PS in rec room and the last in my bedroom is a Beresford 7510 mk 6.4 for headphone use.

I use a Wadia 521 decoding computer which has it's own digital volume control so no pre is needed or desirable. Rest of the system is a Mac Mini running SBS 7.4.2, SB Duet with Bolder digital cable, Macintosh MC252 amp and Harbeth Compact 7 speakers.

I also run a Lavry DA-10 with my SB3 (Classic) in my main system.
I run a Duet in a second system with its own analog outs. Not quite as refined, but still quite reasonable.

I run my SB3 into a Roksan DA1 + DS4 power supply too. Works for me!

I use a Benchmark DAC/PRE as both DAC and preamp for my system. Belden 1694A cables for interfacing.
I haven't purchased a Touch yet, but will when available. This will be connected thru the Benchmark as well.
