Hello, I really want to use iTunes or Softsqueeze to play music from my Squeezebox Server, but I can't seem to get it to work on my computer. I'm running the server and the applications on the same computer with Windows 7, is it an issue with Windows 7?
iTunes seems to sync with the server, and even though a counter counts up, it will not play anything from the server. Softsqueeze seems like it should be included with the server installation, but is not there and attempts to install it fail for me...
Also, I'm just trying internet radio stations right now, but in the end what I most want to use is the music on-demand services, Rhapsody and Napster, but it appears there is no way to add them to the server? It seems you would add them from www.mysqueezebox.com, but to do that it seems that you need a hardware squeezebox added first?
A final question I have is lyrics, are lyrics provided with music on-demand services and if so, will they also somehow work with Softsqueeze?
Thanks for your help!

Yep, I've done the account setup part, but as I said it seems to require a hardware squeezebox to add the music on-demand services to www.mysqueezebox.com but besides that, I just can't even get softsqueeze to open...

Please let me know what you have done to install and start softsqueeze. Did it come from Ltech?
The older versions (7.3.x) would install it from a Home menu selection.
If you don't want to play to the newer (radio/touch) hardware, you can use the older version without issue (except the firmware update issues with your hardware players.)
