Latest version of software 7.4
linksys router
Martin Logan Summit Speakers, PS Audio DAC, Perreaux 750 monoblock amps, Perreaux SM6 MKII preamp & JL Audio Fathom Sub {separate main power runs etc etc}
A repeatable issue:
Many variations have been tried but if I turn on the duet Remote controller, wait for complete start up
Select ANY option for the library from the duet remote controller only and this locks up the computer {Hard Reboot required}
Blue light occurs and need to pull power to get sb server working.
* P.S Everything is wonderful until I turn on and try to use the remote controller
This happened occasionally on prior versions of software as well.
Thanks

Are you sure the controller and the computer have different IP numbers?
(Ie, if your router is doing DHCP, make sure your 'pool' of IP's is large enough or it may do dumb things like recycling IP numbers... two machines with the same IP number is a bad thing.)

All three need to have different ip addrs, the controller, receiver and the server.

Have you tried a clean install of 7.4 ( remove all user prefs to )? did it finish it's initial rescan of your music library ?
Do you have a server log ? or scanner log ?
What antivirus software do you use ? note that the executable has changed name so your av and firewall may need resetting as they see it as a new programm.
Your AV software must have exceptions for *.MYI and *.MYD files
Your firewall must have port 9000 tcp and port 3483 tcp/udp open--------------------------------------------------------------------
