ReadyNas NV SB 7.4.1

hi all,
Started upgrade yesterday...had few problems (previously using 7.3.x on readynas - i followed the remove 7.3.x, cleandb, install latest 4.1.6 firmware, cleandb, install sb7.4.1, cleandb, restart process), problem was mainly with no artists after music scan - various DBI connection errors in server.log - see below. However i restarted squeezeboxserver from console (ssh) as root, and then many errors seemed to go away. However - could anyone answer this:
my server.log contains lines such as:

now, i can wget this url fine from the console, so its not DNS etc, well, not as root anyway.
1. any clues?
2. anyone else had DBI error like i had before manual stop/start such as

Hi,

A Reboot of ReadyNAS put me back to beginning. I have data in SBS, as i can see results in web ui for albums etc, but nothing for artists. Being a little inquisitive and hopefully help someone help me i have deduced following:

if i access mysql commandline using slimserver database i can see various tables, but not knowing schema would expect to see something like 'artists' however not finding a table like 'artists' i can see one called 'contributors' and can see what look like should be my artists in there.

i can select my albums, using web ui, boom, or sb3 and play them ok, but can do nothing that uses 'artists'

ps: i am using itunes plugin, and using just the itunes xml file and itumes playlists fields, not the music folders.

Any help - i can supply logs/diagnostics if needed?

ok,
for anyone listening, the problem is the iTunes plugin and its parsing of the latest iTunes Music Library.xml file. It cannot handle some of the data present in this file, and foobars the whole artists stuff instead of skipping just the items it cannot handle.
