Alien failure

has stopped working with alien.

I can't get it to play with mplayer directly. Perhaps it only works in US or at certain times.

Does it work with mplayer directly on your system ?

A test with RealPlayer is not valid as it can use alternative transport protocols.

I was confusing two issues, because for a while the WBAA stream was really broken.

But when is was not broken, in the sense that mplayer could stream it, Alien could not.

I've resolved this by installing the beta. I have no idea what's going on.
