7.4.1 doesn't start and cannot be removed!

I installed SB Server 7.4.1. in the hope of solving the foreign character issue, but has run into a bigger problem.
It doesn't start and cannot be removed now, due to "Microsoft Visucal C++ Runtime Library" error.

It says
"Program: C:\Program Files\Squeezebox\server\SqueezeSvr.exe
R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"
(Attached is the screenshot of the error message.)

What should I do?

Googling around for this error message tells me that there might be a
conflict with Visual C++ runtime libraries. As you're using a Chinese(?)
Windows I'd suggest try installing the latest Chinese VC++ 8.0 libraries
from microsoft.com
