Since upgrading to version 7.4, I have encountered a problem with using two SqueezeNetwork (or mysqueezebox.com) accounts and one Squeezebox.
The problem that arose with this new version and these new SN accounts appears to be that one player can only ever be associated with one account. Before the upgrade, I did not have any problems with this.
My setup is like this...
In our house we have one Squeezebox Classic player, and two separate computers running two separate instances of Squeezebox Server. Each of these two Squeezebox Server instances had specifically different settings, including different SN accounts that they were associated with. Whenever we wanted to switch from one server/account to the other, we could easily do that by switching the server to connect to on the Squeezebox.
To explain the problem further, when I try to access my Pandora settings with account 'B' that's set up on computer/server 'B'... well first I figure I have to add the "App", but I can't do that because it says the player is already registered to another user. The other user is account 'A', which is associated with computer/server 'A', which does not have the settings that I want to use.
How can I get this to work the way that it did before? All I figure I need to do is get account 'B' associated with the player again, but I can't seem to do that. I am certainly not looking to use a single SN account, because there were reasons all of this was separate in the first place.

A player can only be associated with one SN account. That's how it is now, and that's how it also was before the change to MySqueezebox.com.
If it worked the way you describe before, it was a fluke. The only thing I can think of is, maybe you were using old versions of SC (pre 7.3.x)?Squeezebox Controller (fw r6038) + Squeezebox Receiver (fw 62) + 1TB fileserver, Windows XP SP3, running SqueezeCenter 7.3.4
Download SC 7.3.4 from here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.3

Why can't two different SN accounts be associated with the same SB? Obviously the SB can only use one at a time, and that can be determined by the server that it's connected to. It'd make more sense to me if there was more of an association between the SN account and the SC server, not the player.

another variant of the same problem
I have the same problem. I had two computers alternating connected with my squeezebox. I don't know with which version this worked but it seemed me to be a feature ... Then I didn't use my squeezebox for some time. Now I want to use it again but after updating today it tries only to connect with the computer to which it was connected at the last use.
Unfortunately this is not the computer to which it shall connect usually. How can I alter the connection?

Which player are you using?
If SB3 or Boom just hold the left arrow, wait for the setup screen, then arrow down to "Connect to SC xxxx".

I'm not sure this is exactly the same issue as the OP. If you have two local Squeezecenters and want to switch a Squeezebox player between them, you can follow Toby's suggestion or use the ServerSwitcher plugin (I think it works on 7.4) to make it a bit easier.

Because you can only register your SB on one SN account. If you try to register it to another account, you will get the message telling you the SB has already been registered.
No. Because some people do not use SC at all, only SN. So registration of the SB has to be with an SN account.
Allowing the SB to be associated with different SN accounts leads to different possible complications. For one, who owns the SB if it's registered to more than one account? If you bring your SB to a friend, and connect it to his/her SC it will be automatically added to their SN as well. If you purchase a SB second-hand, you add it to your own SN account while it is still (unknown to you) registered to another account as well. Etc etc.
What you are looking for, it seems, is to allow multiple user profiles for the one SN account. There's already such an enhancement request. Go register and then vote for it
