I use XP and NOD32.
The older versions of NOD32 used to have a module called IMON and I see lots of people saying that needs some exclusions added to make the Boom work but new versions do not have this module.
I tried all possible exclusion lists to try and allow the Ports 9000, 9090 and 3483 work unhindered but no joy.
Everything works just fine with NOD32 removed so I will try and contact ESET to see if they have any ideas.
Meanwhile I guess I'll have to use another (free) Av package for a while.
Hold the press.
Actually I found the answer in the Wiki (though I am sure I tried it before - it does work now)
