Question before upgrading to 7.4

Is the automatic database updater, started when new files are found, still running at high CPU and the same priority (-5) as squeezecenter on a sparc?
I remember when trying one of the betas that the menu's of the squeezebox classic were sluggish when adding new files due to this issue.

Ah the autoscan is not included I see.

But I seem to have the same problem when something is working with the database, for example Lazysearch.

Now I get dropouts when playing flac during a lazification of then database due to this problem.
