    Mini-SqueezeCenter

    Hello,

did anyone try to install a SqueezeCenter on the following hardware:
    -(LX800) AMD Geode LX CPU
    - 256MB-DRAM
    - FreeBSD7.2 (optimized for flashDisks, that means running completly in Virtual-Memory-Disk)

I would only store a few mp3-files on it and would use the small server only for radio and podcasts....

    Greetings
    JM2009

PS: Is there a minimized SqueezeCenter software available, without SQL....?

I you will only be running SC on the box, download/install vortexbox iso. Flash is fast but the real bottleneck in most systems will be the processor.

Keep in mind that SC is not required to use SN/Internet radio.

I think I read somewhere on the forum that the Touch SC server version should be possible to install on small NAS boxes.

It will be the same SC as installed on Windows/Mac/whatever, but it will
use some additional startup parameters to disable a few features. These
parameters will be available on _all_ platforms.
