With SC version 28524 I cannot browse by Artist in the WebUI. The controller works fine.
The server log gives this error:
This suggests there is a Ř in a name (unicode hex 158), but there isn't. When browsing by Album, I get the first screen (A-D), but when trying to fetch the second I get the same error. Someone else with this one?Code:[09-09-16 12:40:58.3742] Slim::Networking::IO::Select::__ANON__ (140) Error: Select task failed calling Slim::Web::HTTP::processHTTP: Can't escape \x{0158}, try uri_escape_utf8() instead at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Schema/Contributor.pm line 107 ; fh=Slim::Web::HTTP::ClientConn=GLOB(0xdf6f14c)

PS: The same in 58532.

Yes. Everything was OK in the previous version I used (don't remember which one that was; maybe a few days old).
I also get this error message when starting SC:
The title should be:Code:[09-09-16 13:04:57.7066] Slim::Formats::Playlists::Base::playlistEntryIsValid (120) Warning: file:///storage/music/flac/M/Muse/The%20Resistance/08%20-%20I%20Belong%20to%20You%20(+Mon%20C%C3%85%E2%80%9Cur%20S%27Ouvre%20a%20Ta%20Voix).flac found in playlist: file:///var/lib/squeezeboxserver/prefs/clientplaylist_000420127c3d.m3u doesn't exist on disk - skipping!
I Belong to You (+Mon Cœur S’Ouvre a Ta Voix)
(Excuse the bad French; it came from a online database).
I don't see how the string in the error message could correspond with the title at the word Cœur.

They're usually built around 4am PST (13h CET?). I've triggered a new
build now. Should be ready in a few minutes.

I see the 28546 builds for Windows. I switched to a low powered Linux box with vortexbox on it about a month ago, so I'll wait for the new rpm.

Oops... sorry, didn't ask. But it should be ready in 20-30 minutes.

Installed the new version (28547), but it won't start. The server log contains as last entries:
BTW, I don't use iTunes and don't have it activated, so the error message eludes me.Code:[09-09-17 18:36:06.7747] main::init (320) Starting Squeezebox Server (v7.4, r28547, Thu Sep 17 04:02:31 PDT 2009) perl 5.010000 [09-09-17 18:36:07.7848] Slim::Plugin::iTunes::Common::findMusicLibraryFile (198) Warning: Can't call method "findLibraryFromPlist" on an undefined value at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Plugin/iTunes/Common.pm line 198.
Have to find out how to install a previous version on linux ;-)

Argh... will fix it in a minute.

disable the iTunes plugin by replacing "enabled" with "disabled" behind
iTunes in plugin/state.pref.
