    MIS & BOOM & Alarm...

    Hi,

I have great difficulties to get the formating work for the Music Infromation Screensaver (MIS) on my BOOM using a custom Alarm formatting.

The problem is that the second line doesn't format according to the settings, it somehow display in the first row. When changing the formating of line 2 is appears slightly different but doesn't correspond to the settings.
I use the same formating for both the Now Playing and Alarm view, just showing different content. (Lower left = Light Narrow: Lower right = Standard Narrow)

I also use SDT (SuperDate Time screensaver) when not playing music, this add some constraints to SC display formating that control the font size of the time.

I've tried to uninstall MIS but I still have the same behavior.
I see the same behaviour with Boom and SoftSqueeze in Boom-mode.

    See attached screendumps and settings...

    Hmm... I think I've only tested it with SC 7.4 - you're running 7.3.3?

    MIS & BOOM & Alarm...

Ok, there was a bug indeed. Custom fonts in alarm mode didn't work. Should
be fixed in 4.4.3. Please give it a try - you'll have to go the MIS
settings page after installation and just save the settings once again.

    Thanks for the update.

I downloaded 4.4.3 and restarted the server...

I entered the settings page for MIS and save the settings, but now the BOOM goes to default setting on alarm even though MIS is set to use a custom setting for Alarm.
I changed the custom Alarm setting back and forth and also restarted the server again. No changes...

Do miss something or is there another bug?

Looks like there's yet another bug. Would it be fine if after
configuration you re-started SC again? I think there's an issue with the
    font cache initialization.

    Same behaviour after restarting SC.
That is, when custom mode is defined for alarm. The Alarm still triggers the default layout.
