I love the Live Music Archive feature, but...I seem to be missing some things on the menu that are available there. E.g, "The Dead" do not appear at all, and there are no 2009 shows for the Derek Trucks Band. I'd be happy to look into this in the code myself, if only I knew where the code resided. Can anyone help with that?

OK, well, I see most of the work here gets done on the SqueezeNetwork servers, and the playlists etc are downloaded from http://www.squeezenetwork.com/api/lma/v1/opml. So, well, that raises the next question: Are these not being updated regularly, or what?

While it's not a long term solution - you can stream any Live Music Archive show that has a VBR stream (might work with other formats) by copying the URL (link) of the show and pasting it in to the "Tune In URL" box under Internet Radio. it's the link on the left of the screen under "Listen To Audio" On this page the link is VBR_MU3.

You can then save it as a playlist, might want to rename it to something useful. Then you can play it whenever you want by selecting it from your playlists.
Just did this with the Derek Trucks Band 16 April 2009 show. Here's the link if you want to give it a go.

It's a pretty crude brute force work around, but it does get LMA through the kit.

vote for bug 10063
I've contacted Logitech support about this and they suggested trying to rally support for:
http://bugs.slimdevices.com/show_bug.cgi?id=10063
The developers prioritize the bugs they work based on customer impact (ie. Importance in bugzilla) so the more votes this bug gets the better the shot at getting a proper fix.
Ideally the fix will involve building the LMA content dynamically rather than having to hope for periodic (ie. infrequent) DB updates.
