    Got my Squeezebox Touch...

... but it's not working, and Logitech support claims such a product does not exist, even though many vendors carry the SKU:

    http://www.google.com/products?q=squeezebox+touch

    So, what's going on here?

I'm with Jim. Post a picture of your lifeless unit sitting on today's newspaper on your kitchen table beside the OEM packaging with the invoice taped to the box like it was an iPhone for sell on Ebay.

I tried to purchase one on several of those Google listed sites and the transaction will no go through. I even called a few and they said they have no such product muchless any stock!

Buyer beware, looks like somebody could be trying to scam people out of money or attempt advance sales off a rumored SKU# that has been going around the Internet.

Besides, most Squeezeboxes (if not all) have been available directly from the Company website well before being available from Internet stores or retailers. If this device exists, I would be watching the Slim Devices website for first real hints that it exists and/or could be pre-ordered. That's what happened with the Boom. Can't think of any reason why a company wouldn't want to pre-sale as many at full retail as possible. So if it exists, I'd be watching the company website instead of the rumor mills and vaporware Internet retailers.

Don't know, I only listed the ones that seemed reputable.

Some wendor have really made a big mistake here.

Anyway to have a slim chance of getting some music out of it.
If your plan was to listening to your local files you have to install the 7.4 beta squeezeboxserver *not* the 7.3.3 squeezecenter, beware that 7.4 beta is in a real flux just now bugs are rife.

    read warning here :http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Nightly_Builds
    get it here: http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.4

If your set for online content without your pc running do not use http://www.squeezenetwork.com/index
But this http://www.test.squeezenetwork.com/index this is the beta site for these things .

As Touch is not ready yet your experience of it will probably not be the one intended , you have to somewhat patient while the development get finished.

    Cool anyway he he he
