suddenly find cover art plugin has stopped working, iut says search failed 400 bad request. i'm on 7.3.3. anyone can help me?thanks

I just came here to find out the same thing. I think Amazon changed their API or something and we need an update.

Amazon have changed something. It was rumoured that will require sign-in which will make it hard to update the plugin.
I'll look into it over the next few days.

yes, Amazon changed access on 15th of august.
I don't know how the plugin works, but if it is based on perl and the module Net::Amazon than an update of Net::Amazon from CPAN might solve the problem.
(at least this worked for me in a different application)

The plugin is in Perl but I cannot use the Net::Amazon module as it could block SC while waiting for a response. However I can look at the code to see what has changed with APi.

Thanks - I had found a very specific link in the Net::Amazon code and have looked at what is needed. Your links provide the wider context which may be useful. Hopefully for added security, it is just an encryption of the current request.
I'll get around to the code in the next few days.
