    No wma-radio ?

I wonder why my danish radiostreams are not working anymore.

I can listen to the streams from Danish Radio in a browser, for instance:

ww.dr.dk/netradio/Metafiler/asx/dr_p1_128.asx (had to break link because of very restrictive forum posting rules ... )

but there's no sound when I tune in from Squeezecenter.

I can listen to Groove Salad, Absolute UK and others - but they are mp3 and not wma streams. Squeezecenter not supporting wma anymore?

I'm on a very resticted PC, so there are a few things I can't check regarding that stream at the moment.

Try telling SqueezeCenter to proxy the stream. The setting actually refers to MP3 streams, but thats just bad wording. The issue is that the players only understand HTTP streams but some providers only publis on MMS streams, this can be handled by SqueezeCenter though.

If you have any others, let me know, I'm interested!!

WMA still supported. It plays OK on my system which is a 7.4 but that area has not been changed.

Unusually the first play of the station took 20 secs to respond with first block of data so perhaps your Network Radio Station timeout is too short (typically 5 sec).

Thank you guys for the answers. I still have the problem from Squeezecenter, but I can listen to the wma-streams from Squeezenetwork.

How do I "proxy the stream"?

I'm not at home to check, and can't remember exactly off hand, but it is in Settings -> Advanced -> Network ...I think.

    Unhappy Mediamonkey beats SC !?

I still need help on this... for some reason danish radio doesn't work on SC anymore.

    The pls-links found here : http://www.dr.dk/netradio/afspillere.asp

plays in Mediamonkey, but doesn't work in my SC.

Please check if the above links works in your SC and give me some hints if you can.

    SC Version: 7.3.4 - 27488 @ Wed Jul 15 03:01:56 PDT 2009

Talking Restart of SC did the trick

After some browsing in the forum I tried to restart SC - and it did the trick.

Strange though, that SOMA FM and other stations play without restart.

Hope for a fix on next release.

Overall I still love my SB - my best gadget-purchase ever!
