I beleive you will either need to run SC as a service or have squeezecenter.exe in your start up folder..

    Thanks!

Ok, I tried some different ways to get around the problem and the best result is to make a shortcut in the startup folder and keep the squeezecenter.exe file in its original place in the squeezecenter folder.
Then it can start all by itself.

But a window appears that shouldnt be there and its the same window as when you open squeezecenter.exe in programs folder.

How do I get rid of that window??

Not sure what window you're talking about. Did you put a shortcut to the "SqueezeCenterTrayTool" executable in the "All Users" startup folder?

The program folder should have the "squeezetray.exe" in it. The Startup folder should have a shortcut to the file in it. Is that what you have?

    Cool

    Hi
    I really appreciate your help!

    Here´s the shortcut: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\SqueezeCenter

    and here's the squeezetray:C:\Program Files\SqueezeCenter

Only when manually starting squeezecenter.exe it works. Isn't that window
called commandline or something, it looks like that anyway.

    Thanks!!

The window sounds like the one that pops up right after you load the SC software. You may want to uninstall and reinstall without any virus protection on. Maybe before that you may want to check in services to see if the SqueezeMySQL service is running. It shouod be set on automatic and should be running.

After that maybe give Logitech a call and let them know about the command window opening every time you start SC.

    Anyone else have any ideas??
