Just got my Boom. Wow, was that easy to set up, no instructions required.
Already (within an hour) I was listening to local radio streaming stations, internet radio, and library music from my hard drive. No-brainer setup without using any of the manuals I downloaded. Before buying this, I had no idea what internet radio was.
The unit is friendly, glitchless, and beautiful!
96-128 kbps sounds like CD quality on this unit.
I'd quibble about how hard it is to set up favorites on the box if it wasn't for the excellent squeeze center for adjusting just about anything on my PC.
I paid under $250, and I feel like that's an awesome price for what Logitech delivers.
Maybe I'll have questions or concerns later, but after half a day with this boom I'm definitely in love. Best thing I've bought in years.

Yup... I bought one...and then went back and bought 3 more!
It's great to have them all synchronized (along with my Duet which is hooked up to my living room AV set up)... Nothing like being able to hear the same music throughout your house without having to BLAST it from one location...

...and I thought I had a problem :-)
I picked one up when Circuit City was going out of business. I got in the car and decided to go back in and grab the one left on the shelf too!
When I listened to it at home, I was blown away. So I had to get another one, this one from E-Bay. Not quite as cheap as from CC, but still a really good deal.
I have a total of 3, one for each kid in their room. All but my littlest one (who wasn't even born when I bought the 3rd one) uses it on a daily basis. In fact, the 3rd one arrived at my house the day we brought my littlest one home.
It is an awesome sounding little device and seems to be as stable as the SB3.
I can't wait to see what they have coming out next!Rich

You need one more...trust me...

I also have a boom in each of the 3 bedrooms in my house... The fourth is in my kitchen...and it is fantastic to have tunes while cooking or doing the dishes...
Of the four, I only got one on a super discount... I bought 3 of them at about $250...and 1 at about $150...SqueezeCenter Running on HP EX485 MediaSmart Server (WHS)

Welcome to the Forum and the wonderful world of Squeezebox! Glad to hear your positive experience and more so that your enjoying your purchase. I personally really feel it is hard to own just one Squeezebox. Once one starts seeing and thinking of all the places one can easily have music, the other Squeezeboxes just logically start to be bought for those areas.
