I have much the same problem. Running nightly build now: Version: 7.4.3 - r30375. Have tried both older versions and 7.5 and 7.6. I only get 510 songs of my 5000 after scan completes. The scanner reads through all directories but returns the error "unable to read tags from file" in the scanner log. Most of the found music is newer. The tag errors happen for both flac and mp3 files. Problems started after upgrade to 7.4.1 or 7.4.2. Any ideas? Thank you.
