    Android Client - Squeeze Remote

    Hi,

Having discovered the Squeeze platform a few months back we immediately wanted to make use of it on the Android mobile platform. Finally, last week we have released a client for the mobile called Squeeze Remote for Android.

We have done extensive testing and is now fully functional including auto discovery, internet radio and spent some time really making it smooth and easy to operate.

Read more about it on the Android Market website, Cyrket

The app is $3.99 and you should make use of the Android market place ability to try apps and return them within 48 hours for free.

Try it and let us know what you think, how it's working for you and what features you may like to see in the future. In particular we have a (free) update coming soon which will include control of music services such as Rhapsody and last.fm.

    Regards,

    Daniel Bradby

Since you use the term "we" does that mean that there is some sort of company behind that "we"?

"We" are jTribe - www.jtribe.com.au. A company that specializes in the integration of mobile apps with back-end components. Creating a client that interacts with Squeeze components over the local network is a great use-case for us.

Thanks Daniel, That looks very good. Makes me want an Android phone more. I'm glad to see that all the possibilities of the squeezebox is being explored.
