    Last fm API docs say:

The core reason is that the submission is invalid (missing the mandatory Artist.. setting this to empty is not valid). The Last.fm submission URL accepts this invalid submission but it is discarded at the back end.

My guess is that this shows up ONLY in the 'sqllite' branch, not 'trunk', but since sqllite is being used for the nightlies... it may as well be called trunk.
I see the same re artists - would make a lot of sense if that was the issue.
    Who am I on LAST.FM?

So 26558 should be good. I have to fall back to 26305 if I want Scrobbling, as that was the last one I saved before the auto-updating test.
I just upgraded my downgrade... I moved from build 26010 to build 26305, and I can confirm that scrobbling works for both local library tracks, as well as tracks played from music services...

26754 not scrobbling local tracks, haven't tried Squeezenetwork yet, which was working on previous updates. Win XP
If the rule you followed brought you to this, of what use is the rule.

Did someone say MeSue? ;-) Just found this thread. I halted at Version 7.4 - 26558 @ Thu May 14 while waiting for Erlands plug-ins to be compatible (hope, hope). I think that is the last version before the SQLite switch.

MikeekiM, all the installed MSI files should be cached on your server. Open a remote desktop connection and have a peek in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Home Server

Initially this seemed like a space waster to me, but now I see it has its advantages.

Sweet! Thanks MeSue... I took a look, and low and behold, I have all of the previous builds sitting there... Nice!

Now I just have to get the motivation to apply the updates one by one and figure out which one breaks scrobbling... If, as you say, the one you are using is the last one before the SQLite switch, I may go straight to the build you are on, and leave it at that... The most recent 2 or 3 builds have crashed my server...

So I should just have fixed the bug (change 26779) - probably too late for today's nightly.

My bad. An optimization for fetching the artist name was using the wrong relationship type. I'm sure this worked when I originally tested it, but I cannot see how it could have ....

Latest from debian unstable is 26779 already and scrobbling works again.

Any reason why all the nightly builds have been updated except for the WHS version?

And other places (like SBC) where the artist vanished from the display now seem to work.

Is Fixing Last.FM Scrobbling a Priority?

    Should be fixed.
