Hi everyone,
I wanted to let you all know that I have decided it's finally time for me to part ways with Logitech. This has been a wonderful experience, but it has now been nine years since I started Slim, and I have come to a point where I just have to do something new again. However, first I'm just looking forward to a little break.
I would like to say thanks again to all our customers, and especially to the members of this forum who made this all possible. I still enjoy visiting the forums, so I'm sure this is not the last you will hear of me. I just won't be speaking for Logitech any more.
Although I don't often find myself at a loss for words, right now I'm not sure what else to say. It's just time to move on!
Best wishes,
Sean

Hi Sean,
Best wishes then, and congratulations (if that's appropriate!) Thanks for my lovely Squeezeboxen, and for the open source philosophy and community spirit you've engendered. Glad to hear you'll be sticking around; any comments as to what happens now with the company formerly known as Slimdevices - direction, command structure etc? Or what you might be doing next?
I shall now sit back and watch this thread develop with much interest
Thanks again and good luck for the future.

Wow, this is a loss for Logitech. Thank you Sean for creating one of the best things I've ever purchased. Few things have enriched my life like this wonderful little device. Good luck in whatever you do and please keep in touch here.
Again many thanks,

Hi Sean,
I am one of the legions (I hope
of recent customers the reach of Logitech has brought to the Squeezebox. For many years I was tempted to buy but never did. Finally an SB grabbed me in the aisle of music shop last year.
I have to say, too, that my SBs, the open server software, make for the warmest, most rewarding piece of technology I ever came across. I guess you couldn't achieve this without being able to build along the way a great team, and a strong community.
That's a lot for one man.
My thanks, and best of luck for the future.
