Hello all,
I am fairly sure that the answer is going to be "no", but is it possible to run SqueezeCenter on my Argosy - HD363N as seen here http://www.argosy.com.tw/product-detial.php?prod_id=35
If it is possible how do I go about it? Any help would be much appreciated.
Ian

I think the answer is probably no, but it's worth investigating further. The key questions are the following, which should be available from your product documentation and/or a little poking around on your part:
- what processor does the Argosy have
- how much RAM does the Argosy have
- can you open a shell session (telnet or ssh) on the Argosy
I've run SC 7.2 on NASs with as little as 128MB RAM and a 266MHz PowerPC processor. That is pretty much a minimum hardware requirement, and most people find it too slow. Getting into a shell session required reflashing the factory firmware. If you can't open a shell session, maybe someone else has already done the "hacking" necessary to open your NAS. If anyone has, you'll probably find some info by googling on terms like Argosy, firmware, telnet, ssh, hack, etc.
Good luck.
