    Transporting a playlist

I have created a playlist on one computer. I have copied all of my music and my playlists to an external hard drive. I have attached that hard drive to a second computer. On that computer I have configured squeezecenter to find the music files on that drive (it happens to be G on that computer), and have done a rescan. I can see all of my music on the controller (I use duet or softsqueeze) as well as the playlists. However, when I call up a playlist, there is no music associated with it. I am assuming that the playlist is looking for music based on the file structure under which it was created. In that case, it would be looking in the C drive, documents and settings yada yada. Is there a way to modify the playlist which is now residing on the external hard drive to point squeezecenter to the appropriate place in the file structure on the G drive?

I really don't feel like recreating the playlist.

    Thank you

This is easy, assuming it is a normal playlist file such as .mu3. Open the file in a text editor and then do a search and replace for the relevant address string to change the drive letter / directory location throughout from the original to the new, and then save it again.
