    SSODS 3.17 wont start Squeezecenter

    Im trying to update SSODS 3.17 + SqueezeCenter (latest nightly build). The status window in SSODS is saying everything is working fine, but when i go to http://<ip of my diskstation>:9000 the only thing i get is a blank page.

      I also have a problem with SSODS 3.17. I can't have web access to the SqueezeCenter and some features like Dynamic playlist doesn't fully work. It's the case with version 7.3.2 or with the daily build of 7.3.3 version.
      For me the problem seems related with SSODS 3.17, so i uninstalled it and went back to 3.16. Everything seems to work again.

      Edit : It's on a Synology DS107+.

          Nightly build 7.3.3 isn't tested (and supported?) by flipflip. Nightly 7.4 is working though it's not flawless.

              I've got the same problem : blankpage when I try to access the squeezecenter administration webpage.
              SC 7.3.2 & SSODS 3.17

              I'll have a go with uninstall of SSODS 3.17 & try the 3.16.
              Fingers crossed & hope it will work for me too.

                      Remove /volume1/SqueezeCenter/CPAN/Template* (i.e. Template.pm and the directory Template).

                              You might want to edit the text on the SSODS download page under Errata (http://oinkzwurgl.org/ssods_downloads): There it says "remove /volume1/SqueezeCenter/Template*.", not "remove /volume1/SqueezeCenter/CPAN/Template*."

                              I have the same problem as the others - will try your fix.

                                  SSOTS 3.17 + SC 7.4: The following modules failed to load: EV

                                  I'm trying to install SC 7.4 on my QNAP TS-239. I started out with firmware 3.1.0 (0529T) and SSOTS 3.1.7 QPKG.

                                  When I try to launch SC it fails, and the following error is logged:

                                      NAS is a Synology 107+. With SSODS 3.17 and before deleting Template* I get this in the server log when I try to access the web interface:

                                      This is with SqueezeCenter 7.3.3-26557. I have also tried with the latest 7.4 nightly (7.4-26890), and it installs fine, but when I try to start SqueezeCenter from SSODS, I get this:

SqueezeCenter 7.4-26890 is not running and SqueezeCenter's MySQL is not running.

                                              i am also a frustrated user. I have installed 3.17 SSOTS on my QNAP TS-409 with squeezecenter 7.3.2. All seems fine but by using adress "http://my servers ip:9001" squeezecenter won't start.

                                                  You have the wrong (too old) version of the Audio::Scan module.

                                                  Either use the stable release of SqueezeCenter (recommended), which doesn't need that module, or upgrade the Audio-Scan module. The SSODS page is where you want to look for that.. ;-)

                                                      Is this module, (it's i686 version) likely to be required for the QNAP i686 NAS's? I know you are not supporting these anymore, but for SSODS/SSOTS you are the oracle :-)

                                                          Right, I'm not updating the i686 version anymore and yes, you'll need that module (and others) for the current 7.4 trunk (nightlies). However, SC includes binary versions of all modules for x86 Linux that might be compatible/usable. You'll find out when you try to start SC..
