Hello
Does Squeezecenter use per default folder.jpg stored in the same folder as the .FLAC files or the .jpg inside the FLACs medatada?

Pretty sure it's configurable in the options.

I don't think you need to select anything in the options, I think it will use either, but I don't know which takes precedence.
I personally use folder.jpg in each of the album directories.

i never put it in the metadata, seems useless, complicated and a waste to me. but i am pretty sure if present, that takes precedence.
i told SC to use Folder.jpg specifically for everything, b/c WMP put other files in the dir SC then used, and they looked terrible b/c they were smaller.

It defaults to the metadata. I noticed this when I downloaded the NIN album on flac and each file had different art than the folder.jpg.

I use both methods hard disk space is an non issue and if I have embedded art the file is self sufficient, when used out of album context not necesarily on SC but for example if one brings a couple of tunes to a friend for a party or whatever
