    Softsqueeze 0.5

I may be imagining it, but it seems to me that the audio output from version 0.5.1 is slightly quieter and muffled as compared to version 0.4.

The volume control works for all formats in this release, so you might just
need to increase it with the volume buttons on SoftSqueeze. The maximum
volume has been reduced slightly because at the higher volume levels there
was some digital clipping (clicks and pops in the playback). I will have
    another look at this tonight.

If you are using Windows and have you DirectSound 5.0 or later (included
with Windows ME/2000/XP) you could try using Java 1.5.0 beta 1 with
SoftSqueeze. This will improve the quality of the audio output.

    Regards,
    Richard
