    Automatically play a playlist

Can slimserver be setup so that when I finish listening to an album it will automatically switch to a playlist?

The idea being that I want to have music running constantly but sometimes I would want to interrupt this and play a specific album.

Once finished that album it would return to the playlist and continue on.

This can be done if you are using a Squeezebox remote, rather than a Controller - if you find the album you want and, at the album name level, press and hold the + key it will add the album to play next. Once the inserted album finishes the underlying playlist will carry on where it was before the insertion. I'm not sure if there is a way to do this with the Duet.

I know that the + key on the Controller works this way (i.e. does a "play next") when held on a specific track, but I've never tried it on an album. My guess is that it should work, but I'll have to try it tonight to find out for sure.

Yes, it works fine. I use it all the time, even inserting albums into dynamic playlists from erlands plugins.
