One bug with Genres I encountered today:
I have a Various Artists directory with about 50 albums.
If I select a Genre, and it is an album in that directory,
it plays all 50 albums no matter what genre they are.

First of all, thanks for a really awesome app!

The only thing I don't like is that it requires a WLAN connection. Why?
I would love to run it over 3G via a vpn connection.
Can you please remove the WLAN only limitation?

What a fantastic app.

I've only had my Samsung Galaxy Apollo since Christmas and, having found the app yesterday, it's already my favourite!

Two tiny problems:
1 - Album art doesn't work (my album art is stored as 'folder.jpg' files in each album's folder)
2 - Downloading music files to my phone results in mp3 files of 0kb

However, for controlling my music, the app is perfect! Thank you.

Hello,

I can't have the Squeezecontrol working on my androphone
I have set the fix IP address of the SB server (on my NAS).
No login or password needed.
The CLI port is 9090 by default (I checked it).

When I click on Test CLI port, the app answers "Unable to connect to CLI on 192.x.x.x. (The connection was reset)"

I don't know what to do !

hi all. i found my way here through searching online for a problem i am having with all the squeezebox android apps i have tried. i am using squeezecontrol at the moment as it is the best i have come across (free).

once installed they work ok for a few minutes but after that whenever i try to access my music the app gets stuck on the 'loading' page. im not sure if it is a problem with the app, the squeezebox, my wifi or what?? the odd thing is that if i power down the phone completely, then turn it back on it will work fine for a while then begin freezing again.

any ideas? i was going to try a paid app but i am a little worried it will happen with that too.

In the latest version when I click on edit playlist button I get an error 'Please wait until the playlist has loaded completely' please help.

I have the same problem as dazbarber.
I would be willing to rename/otherwise change my album art so that it is displayed; I have not found the correct manner to do this.

Which format is this app expecting?

Apparently - No.
And it get stuck quite frequently..
but still, much better than the remote app by Logitech
