If you want i'm interested to join. I have a WAC7500 (Philips) and want also to communicate with the WAC7500.

I use Delphi 2010 on windows xp.
The plug-in Whitebear is virtually comleted. Version 2.3 is coming out in a few days. Are there any features of your Philips that it does not already support?

Try out Whitebear. The middleware that joins the two worlds of:
    1. UPnP/DLNA media clients and media players, and,
    2. Squeezebox Server and Squeeze Players
Download it for free here: http://www.whitebear.ch/mediaserver

    Would like to help

I would be interested in helping with this project. I have written quite a few DirectShow filters using Delphi and I also have a PVR written in Delphi. This works pretty well and I would like to add UPNP to it. This code might give me a good start. See my web site at dtsmedia.co.uk

I have tried compiling Whitebear's UPNP code in Delphi7 but failed. Which version of Delphi did you use and did you have any other required packages installed?

I'm not sure I agree with folks who say Delphi is not used by many people. The number of components and level of web support is too high to be provided by just a few people. I also think I can see Delphi giveaways in lots of released code so, if its true that Delphi is not used by many people, it must just be the successful ones!
