I cannot get the squeezenetwork to stream anything to my squeezeboxes. I tried all my favourites - nothing.
Its not a connectivity issue as I can still control the boxes (power, display brightness) using my remote or on the squeezenetwork website.
What's happening???
How come after all this time there is still no page we can go to that communicates network status/issues???
I have people coming over and I have no tunes.
"What do you expect from free" is not an acceptable answer. I'd pay if you guaranteed an SLA.

Watootsie:
I've noticed that there are times when the SB is connected and seems to be fine but the unit will not connect to SN. If I move the SB closer to the wireless router it will connect and play. You didn't mention your setup but you might try that. Has it connected and played before?

I've been running this current set-up for over 2 years so the above is an unlikely solution.
The real answer seems to be be related to the the thread "Cannot connect to Squeezenetwork from Duet or Boom" (http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=61867).
In the end what I did was power down the router (which also serves as the DHCP server) and all my SBoxes. I then brought the router back up and let it sit for about 15 min. with the SB's powered off. I then powered the SB's up one at a time and got them to deliver a stream. For good measure, I did the firmware upgrade from 124 to 125.
At this point the SB's are happily purring away again.
One interesting note: On my router's device table I now see the Player's SB name under device name - which had never been there before. In the past the device name had always showed up as "--".
