Controller freezes when accessing certain artists

I have a duet setup connecting to my router which is hooked up to my PC-server running win xp. It is a brand new PC so the performance is lightyears better than what is needed.

Sometimes when I access certain artist on the controller the freeze halfway coming in from the right and the controller freezes and reboots after some seconds. Other artists work 100%. What can this be?

Anyone? Is it possible to bring the controller to the place I work and to connect it to the wireless network there to update the software?

If you pull out the battery you notice that SD card slot.

SSH via wifi yes, card reader ? cant you get a cheap USB card reader or if you have camera with SD card and USB conection, then you use the camera as a card reader using windows explorer ?

I tried doing that with my Canon Ixus 80, but it refused ot accept the file.

I tried SCP connect to the network the duet is on, and I was prompted for username and password when I accessed the controller, I tried with both blank and password 1234 as stated in the controllers display - no go.

Is it working otherwise is this happening a lot.
Firmware version is associated with squeezecenter versions .
has the auto update failed for you ?
Did it not update when you installed your SqueezeCenter ?

    7.3.2 SBC fw 3993
    7.3.3 SBC fw 4673
    7.4 beta SBC fw 4824

So if you are on SC 7.3.2 and upgrade to 7.3.3 it should uppgrade itself to the proper version, some people on this forum has choosen to run another firware thanthe one asociated with their SC, but they have probably good reasons for it

The reboot thing is known bug with no solution yet, but it usually after sleep ? maybe you got a new case ?
Have you tried to reload with the same version that you already have ? you can reinstall from controller meny settings>advanced>software update

I downloaded 7.4 for the controller I think, running 7.3.2, and it solved my issues. Everything works like a charm now. The only thing not working is the 3.5 mm headphone output on the controller. I don not have internet access from the SC-network so no go for auto-update but I will have internet come summer so I can live this for so long.

EDIT: I got the SSH/SCP thing worked out and got it updated if that wasn't clear.
