I've a central server where I have the svn tree of squeezeplay, I mounted the squeezeplay source directory over NFS on a OSX desktop and tried to compile.
The problem is that it doesn't seem to work, it tries to create directories like /usr/src/squeezeplay/7.3/squeezeplay/build/linux instead of where it's mounted on the OSX desktop at /Volumes/network/development/squeezeplay/7.3/squeezeplay/build/osx
Could the problem be that I already have a compiled "linux" version in the build/linux directory ?
Is it only possible to compile one version for each squeezeplay source tree ?
Or is it that you can't compile over a NFS mounted disk ?
I tried to checkout squeezeplay locally on the OSX desktop through svn and then it seems to do what it is supposed to do. However, I would prefer to be able to use the source on the server instead.
I'll try to experiment some more but I thought I post it here in case anyone already knows why it behaves as it does.
