I looked around for this and couldn't find any information.
The wireless strength indicator on the remote is full bars, but is RED. It was not this way last night.
I can't find any documentation of what that means anywhere, and I'm reluctant to restart the system given the amount of problems people are having with that.
Any ideas?
Thanks!

I had that some time ago and had to do the same. Hasn't happened since.

I have been getting the red icon a lot recently. Interestingly enough though, it's a false alarm because the SBC is usually connected and working fine despite the red icon. I'm not 100% sure of the timing, but I *think* it started after upgrading the SBC firmware to r3993.

I've been getting the red icon occasionally on mine as well -- however, it has been operating perfectly - in fact, it's red right now but has been streaming music for about 10 hours & I've been interacting with it throughout the day.

I've been getting this issue too since updating the latest firmware.
Not really sure what causes it. I leave the Controller on all the time.
Occasionally when I get home from work and go to use it I notice the red signal strength indicator but I found that it does not seem to affect the function of the controller.
The icon returns to normal display if I reset it, but I've just been leaving it recently because obviously it's a false alarm.2 x SB3, 1 x Boom, 1 x Duet.

Same here. Using SC 7.4-25121/Windows with SBC r4154, sometimes the indicator turns red and stays like this, seemingly without any adverse effects. Connection seems fine, all functions work on the controller. (As does controlling my SBR with it.)
N.B.: This seems to happen only when the Controller battery is very low.Last edited by Moonbase; 2009-02-23 at 09:08.

Same here. Since latest upgrade getting full red bars constantly.
However the controller is working perfectly for the first time in ages, so I am not touching a thing!
I don't care what colour the bars are, as long as it works.

I've also seen this behaviour on a daily basis since i upgraded the SBC firmware to r3993. Is there a bug filed for this?
