    Controller cannot connect to SqueezeNetwork

I have found that switching between SC and SN is very unreliable. Many times my controller will complain that it can't connect to SqueezeNetwork. This is especially the case almost everytime when its previous state was connected to SC and the server was switch off so both controller and player will display the "blue" wireless icon. When I try to connect to SqueezeNetwork i get the "can't connect" error. If I reset the controller and the player everything is back to normal. This is really frustrating. Any ideas? Please don't suggest there is something wrong with my network.

Yes, I have the same experience. I always switch to SN before shutting down SC and the Duet. Then it usually works in the morning to start from SN and switching to SC. usually...

I more and more often nowadays (like this morning!) manage streaming from my laptop through the SC and SN web interfaces. Works much better, the controller is totally unreliable.

    Could be the Controller-to-Reciever Link

Last time I could not connect to SqueezeNetwork, I got it to work by going into the controller menu and found that my controller had somehow lost connectivity with the reciever. (Reciever was still connected to network. White light...yippee! At least I've got that going for me!) I chose "reciever" and reconnected to that. Then it let me connect to SqeezeNetwork.

Of course, I expect no consistency with these frustrating connectivity issues. I like that suggestion above about always switching to squeezenetwork before powering off. That could save me some hassles.

If this product worked as advertised, it would be awesome. Oh well.

has this been logged as a bug? Anyone knows?

Given the amount of problems and the complains I have seen here on people using the controller, I am not even going to bother contacting technical support. This is clearly a buggy product released on the market earlier than it should.

Hopefully iPeng's plugin will completely replace the controller and I don't have to use that junk anymore.
