Music Info no longer scrobbled to last.fm

I noticed the problem on the 20th, but somehow, I was to blind to find this discussion. I posted a bit in the German forum, but nobody else seemed to care.

It always worked using SqueezeCenter. The problem was in SqueezeNetwork. On the 22nd (European time), Last.fm showed "Listening now" but would not keep the tracks in the list. On the 24th everything was back to normal. Thanks to Andy for fixing. On the 25th (yesterday as it is here in Europe), Last.fm was no longer showing anything.

Now and then I noticed, that Last.fm and the SqueezeboxController were not displaying the correct station, for example I had been listening to "My Neighbourhood" and was now listening to "My Recommendations", they sometimes still displayed "My Neighbourhood".

If there is anything I can do to help tracking down the bug, let me know.

Confirmed. After working fine for a few days, my last scrobble is now from Feb 25th, shortly before 3 A.M. CET. :-( Thanks for looking into this and let me know how I can help.

Any updates on a fix to this problem? Nothing is scrobbled when I listen to my Boombox on the squeezenetwork.

Me too, I noticed a malfunction since mid-February, then a brief fix around 23-24 Feb. and then (till now) not working again!

Now, the "Last.fm audioscrobbler" item even disappeared from the Squeezenetwork Settings - but it SHOWS on the Squeezecenter Settings and scrobbling works!

Any ideas why this is happening and if it will be fixed?

Hi all - just to add my name to the list with the same problem: no music plays getting scrobbled when listening through last.fm via squeezenetwork on my Squeezebox Boom. I don't even get the 'now listening through' entry on my last.fm page (but if I 'love' a song through the squeezebox, it does show up). I've had it working briefly for a few days (with no changes in settings), but it's been not scrobbling for more than a week now.

It would be nice to get some kind of feedback from someone at Logitech about the issue - I've read some posts saying it's last.fm's fault, but nothing concrete. Is someone in touch with them? If not, can we help?

Regarding my previous post, I should correct what I said about scrobbling through Squeezecenter: only local (server) music, NOT internet radio shows: when listening to a internet station through Squeezecenter, Last.fm shows "now playing" but does not keep it in the list of listened tracks.
And, again, through Squeezenetwork nothing works and the menu item is gone! So, it looks as if it has to do with Logitech. Or am I missing something?!

I am getting rather inpatient: The system behaves as if there would be no connection between SquezeNetwork and last.fm at all. In this already very long lasting moment the wonderful
idea of scrobbling is only an illusionary theory. What could be done except waiting and hoping?

The worst thing about this problem is that it renders the "My Recommendations" station practically useless. Because Last.fm does not remember what I played, this station plays the same tracks every time I listen to it.

Yes I agree this is starting to get very annoying. All scrobbling has stopped from SqueezeNetwork yet again

Has anyone come across the problem of the first track you play not being scrobbled to lastfm, but then the rest of the tracks from an album are? Im playing music from My Library on Napster on my SB3 and Boom, and everytime lastfm wont pickup/receive the first track but will the rest?
