Right around Christmas I moved my WinXP box from SlimServer 6.x to SqueezeCenter 7.3.1 so that I could use iPeng. Ever since then I've been unable to reliably play MPCs. I'm always able to play FLACs/MP3s in their entirety, but MPCs only play about 6 seconds before the track is skipped. Unfortunately, the behavior is not entirely consistent -- seemingly randomly, an MPC track will play fine at which point the next MPC (or even replay of the the same track) results in the 6second-then-skip behavior. I had no such problems with SlimServer.
All stream format decoders are enabled for Musepack (advanced->file types menu). All point to mppdec (/flac and /lame for FLAC and mp3, respectively)
I experienced similar behavior on 7.2.1, 7.3.1, a 7.3.2 nightly, and now the official 7.3.2 release. Each install followed the "clean install steps" found on the wiki.
I didn't get any direction from support on which logging options to enable, but I *think* the attached logs had player.source and player.streaming debug logging enabled. There are two files zipped together:
server.nightly.log shows a playlist containing all the tracks off a single album, all in MPC format. Logging was activated while some songs were being skipped. Track 4 ("different names for the same thing") played successfully at which point I stopped logging. The nightly was Version: 7.3.2 - 24656 @ Thu Jan 15 03:02:49 PST 2009
While generating that log, each song that failed to play would trigger a new window to open. Also attached is the contents of one of the windows (watchdog.log).
Any ideas on what I can try?
More than a bit frustrated with technical support. I first contacted them on December 22 regarding this problem and yet here I am today still unable to reliably play a large portion of my library. It took a month to open a bug, and it has sat for a week without comment. /vent

I get this error in the log:
