    SqueezePlay and changing alsa device

    Hi folks,
I've successfully built and ran Squeezeplay 7.4 from SVN no problems and like what I see. I'm running this on a MythTV box which has a second audigy card to dedicate to SqueezePlay. Can I change the alsa output device by using the alsaPlaybackDevice variable in the settings.lua file in the .squeezeplay directory which is currently set to "default". If so, what format does this variable take?

I don't have this setup to confirm right now, but I believe the format would likely be numeric, so try 0 or 1, etc...

Thanks for that. I've had a go at this but it insists, no matter what I set this variable to, to send output through both soundcards. I've even tried the more standard alsa strings of "hw:<card>,device>".

I've also noticed that squeezeplay crashes at the end of a song. This is 7.4 svn compiled playing flacs so I've reverted to 7.34. However, apon compiling 7.34 I find that the Playback.lua file has no alsaDevicePlayback variable. Was this introduced only with 7.4?
