Greetings,
I just acquired a Slimp3 but it has no remote. I am able to use it fine with SqueezeCenter.
I see that old Slimp3's used a Sony RM-V201 remote. I found a Sony RM-V210 (yes, 10 versus 01) remote and am trying to get it to work without success, even after following instructions to program DVD with code 007.
Has anyone had luck with getting this remote, or any others, working with a Slimp3?

Remote for slimp3?

The Slimp3 can be controlled with any remote ever sold by Slimdevices.
It works fine with the new candy bar IR remotes.
It also understands JVC DVD codes because those were the codes originally used when the Slimp3 shipped with the Sony remotes.
BTW, for this reason all IR capable SB still support the JVC code set.
Harmony remotes should support the Slimp3 (and SB) as well.

Thanks for the info!
For completeness' sake, the Sony RM-V210 has some different codes than what are listed for the RM-V201 in
http://www.slimdevices.com/documenta...User-Guide.pdf
JVC DVD player: 0007, 0208
JVC TV: 8208, 8028

Slightly OT:
I just noticed that you can't enable/disable the IR code sets (Slimdevices remote, JVC DVD) for a Slimp3 in player settings.
There is no 'Remote' entry in the dropdown list.
It's still there for SB2 and SB3 and I'm sure it was there for the Slimp3 in previous SC versions.
SC 7.3.1
