massive skipping on slimp3 + SC 7.3.x

Greetings,

I recently upgraded to SC 7.3 (and then 7.3.1) and ever since, I've had horrible problems with skipping audio on my SLIMP3 (yes, it's old, but it's always worked flawlessly up until now). Reverting to 7.2 seems to fix the problem, but isn't easily workable for me, as I'm installing and maintaining SC via apt-get on Ubuntu.

Anyone else seeing this problem or have a good workaround for it?

I was noticing a ton of PING (something) on the SLIMP3's display right after I upgraded to 7.3, but it seems to have gone away with the 7.3.1 upgrade. A laptop plugged into the same ethernet cable as the SLIMP3 performs flawlessly.

Turns out the problem seems to in the wireless bridge the slimp3 is connected to. Rebooting the bridge seems to have fixed the problem.
