Cool Installing Squeezecentre 7.3. Clean Install or not ?

I am running a SB Duet setup with squeezecentre 7.2 on Windows XP Home SP3.
I have 2 controllers and 3 receivers & everything is functioning fine.
I've downloaded v7.3 and want to update with the least hassle. Do I install squeezecentre 7.3 over 7.2 or do a completely clean install ?
    Advise/ experiences welcome.

I'm running 7.3 on an XP machine. I don't recall any issues installing over 7.2. I have one SB3 and one duet. I think I'll try 7.3.1 this weekend.

Only warning is to make sure your plugins are all up to date, particularly if you hacked any to make them work with previous versions.

7.3.1 is still beta at present but probably low risk. Change log here:

Millwood's warning equally applies. I've been running beta versions for several years and have only had a few problems. I make regular images of my HD so I can get back to where I started from if everythig goes pear-shaped.

I usually make a copy the Squeezecenter folder before upgrading. Then I just install over the older version. If there is a problem, I can either rename the folder to to go back to my previous version, or do a clean install. Once I know the upgrade is working well, I delete the program folder copy.

In the year since I've had my current server, I have only needed to do a clean install once, and that was over the summer while beta testing 7.2 for the Boom.
