    SqueezeCentre 7.3 & Duet Headphone

    Have I missed something?

I thought 7.3 was bringing the much awaited use of the headphone socket on the Duet controller?

I've updated to 7.3, the controller downloaded its update too but I can't get any sound over the headphones I've plugged into the controller.

Can someone confirm/deny support for headphones has been activated in this release?

    Cheers
    Hyde.

confirmed, although it's officially "beta" and so not fully supported.

What, you wanted more info? You need to activate the SBC as a player first. On the SBC, go to Settings > Advanced > and then something else that I can't remember right now -- follow your nose. The SBC should then appear in your "Choose Player" list on the SBC Home menu. If it doesn't try rebooting the SBC. Once you've selected the SBC as your player, you're good to go.
Nothing high-end, but music anywhere I want it, and it's 100% wind powered. :-)

Dunno what happened last time I tried but just activated the controller again to follow up on your suggestion and there bold as brass under the 'Choose Player' menu item is an entry for 'Controller'. Works a treat :-)

    Many thanks

    OK stuck again :-(

Had to factory reset my controller and now when it starts up it plays the start-up tune through its own internal speaker and for love of God I can't find any setting anywhere that'll activate the Controller as a player to pick from.

What should I see in the 'advanced' menu to kick start the controller as a player please?

[edit]Found it! 'Audio Playback' > Enable Playback (BETA) [/edit]
