    Am I missing something? One doesn't need 7.3 to have a Boom fresh out of the box on Christmas day to work. Boom works with any 7.2 (and if not mistaken any 7.1). If your 7.2.2 is working with all your current players, so will the Boom!

    Boom won't work with 7.1, but 7.2 and later are fine.

    Sure, but by all accounts an upgrade to 7.3 may prevent my whole Squeeze setup from working, in which case I may as well give the wife a brick for Christmas.

    I'm taking the easy option by not upgrading.
