    sound from duet

I set the controller as the player and plugged in earphones. I enabled playback.
sound came from the controller but not through the earphones. Is this a software issue or my earphone cable or//

    Thanks for any suggestions.

Seems some folks have a problem with it and I've asked what type of buds, etc. they might be using, but no one comes back and says.

Try another set of headphones or earbuds. I'm starting to feel the one for iPod don't work. I use Shure earbuds and Sennhieser HD650 headphones and all work fine.

Of course all of this assumes you're using the newest SBC firmware.

    Good luck,

Should be working fine. There is a way to ssh in to the SBC and turn off the speaker, but I'm not sure that would help.

    Anyone else have any ideas??

First you need to be running SC 7.3 and one of the related SBC firmware updates. Then on your SBC you go to Settings/Adavanced/Audio Playback and enable beta playback.

I found the connection pretty tight and had to really push the connector in until it was flush with the controller.

After that the sound came through the headphones. This is an awesome feature and I hope they manage to sort out the quirks!

Thank you Howard. But as the OP said, the sound is coming only from the controller and not from the headphones.

Ouu...I've changed my headphones, set everything as it should be and I'm impressed again. Everything works like a charm. Sound is great! Wonderful.
