I've signed up and will give it a try in a minute through SN as I need to take SC server down for some new clothes ;o)

My profile seems to have an identity crisis as it referes to "His Wall", "His or Her Playlist" and "Her Friends". I know sometimes I get confused but I didn't think things had gone this far!

Cool... is it just radio and smart radio or can you set up playlists etc?

This licensing issue is confusing to me because:

The Deezer company offers a free Deezer app in the iTunes store for the iPhone/iPod Touch which works just fine in the U.S.

Wonder why I can get Deezer on the Touch but not on the Squeezebox. There must be more to the story.

Licensing confuses most people.

Here is an example of pointless licensing restrictions:
The BBC provide now playing information on their website and in DAB, terrestrial digital TV and satellite TV broadcasts. However they are not allowed to have now playing information embedded in their online radio streams. How pointless is that?

This is a minus^(minus). Seems like the licensing deals setup by Deezer are quite peculiar and asymmetric. No US access, but existence of US plugin for Ipod on Itunes. EU access (not all of it) by track on the website, but not via SlimDevices.

There are either very strange covenants in the licensing contracts between Deezer and the majors, or Slimdevices/Logitech cannot offer access because of prior "exclusive"-type deals (e.g. with Rhapsody).

Would someone from whithin Slimdevices/Logitech care to comment (and please do not tell us: "we do not comment on our commercial relationships and strategy"...)

Why can't we use it through the SB here in Sweden?

And while we are on the subject, why can't we use the official Lastfm plugin from Sweden?

But a Spotify plugin will make up for it. (Available for Sweden of course)

Well, only Rhapsody offers this feature, not Pandora. That is the reason that Rhapsody costs four times more than Pandora ($12 vs. $3). I assume that is because Rhapsody pays more to the artists and record companies for this feature.

All absolutely true, yet what remains unexplained, is why one can access the deezer webpage and play individual songs(for free), and yet this feature is not available in the Slimdevices implementation...
