After quite some hassle (see another post of me), just yesterday I got my Duet combo at last working.
It's really great! I love it.
I have started reading into the Wiki and I have searched the faq, but can't find an answer to the following couple of problems.
- The album order of my music collection seems more or less random. I have tagged all the albums neatly in Mediamonkey. (Bach: Brandenburg, Bach: Concerto's, Beethoven Symphonies, etc). I would like them in alphabetic order like in Media|Monkey. How do I do this?
- Is there a way to get an index of composers on the Duet controller?
Thanks.

Now I see albums are sorted by artist (performer, orchestra in my DB).
How can I change this? Sqeezecenter Settings gives the choice "List albums by all artists for that album" or "List albums by band". [What is the difference?] I suppose this choice decides is the sort order?
But I want "Sort album by album (name)". I don't know by heart who performed my Bach Brandenburg concert's [In fact this one I happen to know, but most I don't remember by heart]. And I might have two different performances, that I want to keep next to each other.
I'm probably spoiled with MediaMonkey.
Hope someone can help, or at least give some pointers.
Thanks.

Yep, CustomBrowse plug-in for the SqueezeCenter. Assuming you've added the Composer tags of course
>Sqeezecenter Settings gives the choice "List albums by all artists for that album"...<
So those setting are only relevant for compilation albums. Unless you've used the Artist field for something else, most classical albums wouldn't have differing artists across the tracks.
I use CustomBrowse for all my browse menus, it has no problem order by album name when looking at composers, genres etc.Last edited by amcluesent; 2008-12-04 at 11:57.

>Does this also gives other menu's on the duet's controller<
Yes. You may need to use the Controller's menu editor to enable these additional options and switch off the default Browse menus.
