I have a Transporter, Duet Box & Controller. Transporter & Duet box synchronization appears to work very well with no changes to the default sync settings. The controller always lags. This is a significant (several seconds) lag.
All on wireless network. Running SC 7.3-24144. Controller firmware r3437. Windows.
Is this just me or anyone else seeing this?

That's not quite right. Indeed, sync works best on hardware players, but it can also work with software players (depends on lots of stuff). It can work with SoftSqueeze and squeezeslave, SqueezePlay.
And the SBC is really a hardware player, even if it does use SqueezePlay. But, you are right, sync does not (yet) work with SBC. Also, if you include an SBC in a sync group, then sync maintenance will not work for the whole group.

Thanks for the info. Any fix on date for full sync on the controller?

Sorry, no. There are some difficult technical issues to work out.

Thanks for the controller upgrade, even if it is laggy...
I just wanted to say that I updated my SqueezeCenter yesterday and was thrilled to learn, just in time for xmas, that the SBC is now a player. I look forward to when it can join by sync group of an SB1 and SBR.
Thanks!
