I downloaded the 7.2.1 software so I could use the new ipeng App with my iTouch and it doesn't work. OS 10.4.11 did the Update from 7.0.1 and now everytime I press Start to start the server in the preferences it doesn't work. I believe I had a similar problem sometime ago but am not sure what the solution is/was. I have an older Squeezebox and a slimp3. I did a restart also to see if that would help but still no go. HELP PLEASE.
Thanks,
Paul

Please check server.log (Library/Logs/SqueezeCenter or similar)

Spoke with support and did a clean install which got me a little further but not quite there. Now I get squeezecenter running but when I try to access the web to set it up I just get a spinning circle "Loading Squeezecenter". I can access internt Radio but just can't get to the setup. I'm trying to send log file (it's 1.2 mb)
Thanks,
Paul
PS do you need the whole log ?

That's too big for a freshly installed SC...

No, usually the last few hundred lines are ok.

help me as well?
Hi Michael --
Can you help me? I've posted a couple times about a similar issue; I basically can't start up SC on leopard (on a mac mini). The original post (and relevant lines from server.log, I think) are at
http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=55404
Since a few people have asked about this, I wonder if I'm missing some major documentation on how things work.
Thanks in advance!!

From the log file I don't see anything special. Seems to be running
perfectly fine.
If you can't load the web interface after an upgrade, make sure you wipe
your browser's cache and fully reload the page.

Cleared cache and still the same "loading Squeezecenter" re-installed ..... same thing. UPGRADED to 7.3 same thing. Tried closing all other running programs and did a restart .... same thing. I'm missing something just not sure what it is. Thanks for all your help so far.
