I've encountered a few problems with my Boom.
I've probably had it playing for close to 6 hours in total over the last few weeks.
The sound quality has been awesome but I've started noticing a few quirks:
1) Sometimes browsing the artists is sluggish, occasionally it seems to give up and return to the Home screen. Is this likely to be due to SqueezeCenter auto-scanning or something? Have others encountered this?
2) A couple of times it has suddenly stopped playing and after hanging for a few seconds either powered down to the time screen saver or returned to the home screen. Again, is this likely SqueezeCenter doing something silly? Or is it more likely just too much traffic on the wireless network?
3) Once while watching film when it was just displaying the time it suddenly turned on and emitted a screeching/static sound for a few seconds. On one other occasion it did the same thing during a song. Anyone encountered this?
I'm on firmware 33, SC 7.2.1, running on Fedora 9.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I don't know about (3), but (1) and (2) are common signs of wireless problems, so I would look for that first. Your signal could either be weak or you could be getting interference from something (most likely a neighbor, but other possibilities are a microwave oven or cordless phone).
